One thing for sure, the counterfeiter has not been able to copy Omega movement, even the ubiquitous 1120 derived from ETA 2892. So it is original. If you get below USD 1400 it is a decent deal. Hello, I have purchased this Ref- 2531.80 off Chrono 24 and have a grace period to try and authenticate. I know you guys cannot confirm it is authentic, but just curious if anything seems off. The only thing I was weary about is there is really no fading on the aluminum bezel insert after quite a few years. Hi Everyone, Despite being a decades long Omega fan and having a few - I've never bought pre-owned. I love my 300Ms - and my white one is frequent daily driver. Lately, however, I've been thinking how fun it would be to 2531.80 - box and papers.Sold as a 2531.80 but the dial is a copy of the 2220.80 with an attempt at a 2531.80 case back. MOVEMENT: The rep movement is definitely automatic with a hack function possibly a DG2813 but I will let the experts confirm this. I do not have a shot of the 1120 inside the gen but the watchmaker assured me it is in there.

Also I seem to recall my current SMP 300m having a . Contrary to what was posted earlier, the 2531.80 was discontinued in 2006. It was replaced by the 2220.80 at that point. So the serial number should ring up between 93 and 06 (and probably 98-06 since this appears to be from after they changed over to SuperLuminova). Watch is “real.”. Looks fine. It also has the genuine Omega box mould on it. Ive looked at lots of older omega over the years and the majority of them have that speckling.

94 posts Hello, I usually don’t buy preowned watches off of eBay but I took the chance and purchased what I think is a legit good deal. It’s a 2531.80 that was hardly worn, full set with all boxes (warranty card from a US authorized dealer but not dated) and red dot intact. So it was never opened and doesn’t look polished.
