I'm thinking of investing in a classic beige trench coat and am deciding between Aquascutum and Burberrys. The Burberry one is about 50% more expensive but is 100% cotton, while there is no 100% cotton option for Aquascutum – they seem to offer 35% cotton / 65% polyester only. Could you please offer some thoughts on if the 100% cotton Gabarbine fabric used on Burberry warrants the extra cost in terms of durability and performance?
